- Wildland fire-fighting engine services: The USDA Forest Service (all Forests/Zones in Region 3) has a requirement to obtain ?wildland fire-fighting engine services? for the Southwestern Region geographic area for local, regional and nationwide fire suppression, all hazard activities, and severity. The government plans to issue more than one award resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ) in the form of Emergency Equipment Rental Agreements (EERA) which may be used by multiple state and federal agencies. The Agreement period is for one year, with annual review and possible renewal and extensions thereafter. The Government is planning pre-quote meetings in various locations in Arizona and New Mexico. Locations, dates and times will be listed in the solicitation, which will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about May 30, 2007. This will be a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 115310. The Small Business size standard for Forest Fire Suppression is $16.5 million. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-MAY-2007).
