- Description
- Provide Operation and Mechanical Maintenance and Elevator Maintenance and Repairs at the Mary E. Switzer and Wilbur J. Cohen Buildings both located in Washington, DC. This procurement is a competitive 8(a) set-aside sealed bid procurement with award being made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. The procurement will be for a period of one year with the Government having the unilateral right to extend the services for an additional period of 11 months. This is firm fixed price procurement. Prices for the option period will be escalated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 on August 21, 2007 in room 6648 of the Wilbur -Cohen Building.330 Independence Avenue, Washington, DC. GSA will only be issuing electronic copies of the solicitation; no paper copies will be available. Electronic copies of the solicitation will be issued on or about August 15, 2007. A site visit of each of the buildings will follow the pre-bid conference. The NAIC code for this procurement is 811310. The following information must be provided to Debbie Leonhart no later than August 14, 2007. The name, address and phone number of the company. Name(s) of personnel attending the pre-bid meeting and the estimated length of the time of the visit. All personnel attending the pre-bid conference will need to have a valid picture identification to enter the buildings.
