Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE SPACE IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 25,691 rentable square feet, which will yield 22,339 BOMA usable square feet of office space. The spaces will be occupied by the following agencies: US Department of Justice, EOIR: 6,162 RSF, 5,358 USF DHS – Immigration and Customs Enforcement, DRO: 17,071 RSF, 14,844 USF DHS – Immigration and Customs Enforcement, OPLA: 2,458 RSF, 2,137 USF The agencies will have separate suites but prefer to be co-located if practicable. Respondents may express interest in one or all of these requirements, and should include the total amount of space proposed when responding. LEASE TERM: 10 years; 5 years firm term. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: US Department of Justice, EOIR: Space offered must be contiguous and have potential for an efficient layout. Space must be located on the second floor or higher. Space should be located in a professional office setting. Columns must be at least 25 feet apart center to center and 25 feet from any interior wall. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including 3 reserved onsite secured parking spaces. DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement, DRO: Space offered must be contiguous and located on the ground floor. Non-contiguous space may be considered if connected by dedicated elevator. Space must have potential for an efficient layout. Space should be located in a professional office setting. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including 17 onsite secured parking spaces. DRO requires a sally port with access directly into the leased premises. DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement, OPLA: Space offered must be contiguous and have potential for an efficient layout. The parking requirements stated above are in addition to onsite employee and visitor parking. Public transportation must be available within two (2) blocks from the building entrance. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space shall not be located within a base (100-year) flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative. Subleases will not be considered. Buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, potentially eligible for the National Register within a Historic District are encouraged to offer. Space must be fully handicapped accessible. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in an area bounded by the streets shown below. Offered properties which front the boundary line streets will be considered to be within the area of consideration. NORTH: South Temple/Highway 80 EAST: 700 East SOUTH: 2100 South WEST: Route 68 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1) Building name and address. 2) Legal description 3) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
