- Description
- The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk intends to solicit and negotiate on an unrestricted basis, Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contracts for the 8mm videotape duplication and/or Encrypted DVD replication of motion pictures the Navy licenses with the parties holding copyrights to such films. The purpose of the resultant contract is to allow the Navy Motion Picture Service to establish a set of requirements and pricing structure with movie duplication/replication laboratories used by the film distribution companies from which the Navy acquires public exhibition rights of motion picture entertainment for use within the military framework. Formats to be provided will include 8mm videotape and Encrypted DVD. The format and quantities for each film will be designated on each delivery order. More than one format may be required for an individual title. It is anticipated that the contract will contain a base period of performance of twelve months (commencing on 01 January 2008) plus one (1) twelve month option period. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 512120.
