- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement to modify 16 Low Band Transmitters for use on the EA-18G. NAVAIR intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price contract modification to BAE Systems, Lansdale PA. BAE is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the LBTs and, as such, is the only known source with the engineering expertise, source data, and knowledge to manufacture and test the required modifications. Inquiries regarding the availability of subcontracting opportunities should be directed to BAE Systems, Lansdale, PA 19446-1485. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. Note 22 applies.
