- Description
- The National Naval Medical Center, Acquisition Mgmt. Dept. Bethesda, MD, on behalf of the Naval Medical Research Center/Malaria Program intends to award a sole source procurement (RENEWAL) to Applied Biosystems for Maintenance Agreement/BioAssurance Plan. Period of Performance: 01 0ct 07 thru 30 SEP 07, Plus Two (2) Option Years. Equipment 3100 Genetic Analyzer (1 each) and 6700 Nucleic, Automated Workstation (1 each) Award will be made using SAP and contingent upon availability of FY 08 funding. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate w/only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids.
