Description
AMENDMENT 0001 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the presolicitation notice for solicitation MC-E-07-R-100-001 to procure bi directional KU Band GPS system (or equal) for US / Mexico cross border trucking with tracking coverage capability in both countries. The Offerors who believe that they possess the requirement capabilities MUST be able to provide the following listed below within the required delivery schedule. - MUST be able to deliver 5 - 600 bi directional KU Band terminals within five days after contract award and MUST be capable of installing up to 1200 terminals within 90 days of contract award - MUST provide satellite coverage for the 48 contiguous United States and Mexico - MUST be capable of installing any number of tracking terminals (5-1200 terminals) ordered at varying locations along the US/Mexico border within 90 days After Receipt of Order (ARO) - MUST have a combination of Mobile Installation Capability and Fixed Service Center Installation Capability with limited federal logistics / support upon contract award - MUST be capable of interfacing directly with law enforcement and other federal security related vehicle tracking and emergency response command centers within 90 days of contract award - Interested Offerors who have expressed an interest and believe they can satisfy the requirement must submit a statement of capability to the Contracting Officer, Janis Anderson via email at Janis.anderson@dot.gov no later than 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Friday October 12, 2007.
