- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center is soliciting proposals for research entitled "Generation of Probability of Detection (POD) Curves for Ultrasonic Detection of Simulated Hard Alpha Inclusions in Titanium Forgings". The solicitation is provided as an attachment to this announcement. Any questions regarding the solicitation must be done via email and directed to the Contracting Officer, Lori.McLaughlin@faa.gov. All questions must be submitted by 2:00 EST on October 17, 2007. The completed SIR and all other information required for proposing on this effort must be submitted no later than 2:00 EST on October 31, 2007, per the instructions set forth in the SIR. All submissions shall be addressed to: FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center Attn: Lori M. McLaughlin AJP-7952, 4th floor Technical Building Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405 The competition designation for this solicitation is full and open. The NAICS code, 541330, is used strictly to determine business size for statistical purposes. This announcement does not obligate the government to award any effort resultant from DTFACT-08-R-00042.
