- Solicitation Item 6.1.A. is deleted and replaced by the following: 6.1. QUOTATION MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: A. PRICE: Price quotation for the type and quantity described above, stating which make/model is being offered, including unit price and extended prices, inclusive of delivery charges. Imported vehicles will be consigned to the U.S. Embassy so that the vehicles will be exempt from the local Ecuadorian value added tax (currently 12%) and customs duties. Value added tax and customs duties do not need to be included in the quotation. For any vehicles that might need to be imported, the correct consignee and other shipping instructions will be provided by the Embassy following contract award.
