- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the Open, Inspect, Report and Repair of parts for the Scalable Integrated Navigation Systems 1SG38-SINS. Parts will be repaired in accordance with ELC Specification Number R-400-299. The original equipment manufacturer is Furuno USA Inc. The U.S. Coast Guard does not possess the data rights to the specification and drawings; equipment mock-ups and test fixtures, environmental controls, testing parameters, quality assurance and/or documentation necessary to perform these repairs. It is the Government?s belief that only Furuno USA Inc. or their authorized representatives can perform these repairs. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY! This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), therefore; no cost or pricing information shall be submitted at this time. Interested sources that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capability to accomplish the repairs and provide evidence as an authorized repair facility; including evidence of component level and repair procedures, equipment mock up(s), test fixtures and satisfactorily performed repairs for this equipment for the government or the prime equipment manufacturer. This information is due within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The Government does not intend to pay for this information. It is the Coast Guard ELC?s intention to advertise a solicitation for requirements within 45 days of this Sources Sought notice.
