Description

The NAICS code for this procurement is being changed to 336611. The solicitation will be ready for downloading on or about September 21, 2007. Services to Ultra High Pressure Water Blast in accordance with Statement of Work (provided upon request). Services to be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard YARD, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD 21226. Contract to be requirements; firm fixed pricing with one (1) base year and two (2) option years. The contract will be processed for the following estimated jobs: 1 Estimated that set up time will be required approximately 25 times annually, 2) Underwater body surfaces , approximately 80,000 SF, 3) Estimated underwater hull, approximately 40,000 SF, 4) Freeboard Surfaces, approximately 65,000 SF, 5) Superstructure, approximately 40,000 SF, 6) Weather decks, approximately 50,000 SF, 7) Built in tanks (WJ-2), approximately 5,000 SF, 8) Machinery space bilges (WJ-2), approximately 5,000 SF, 9) Non-Machinery space bilges (WJ-2), approximately 5,000 SF, 10) Interior compartments, passageways, offices, etc. (WJ-2), approximately 5,000 SF, 11) Lead contaminated surfaces from interior compartment, Passageways, offices to a condition of WJ-2, approximately 5,000 SF, 12) Lead contaminated exterior surfaces to a condition of WJ-2, approximately 5,000 SF, 13) Apply Primer coat freeboard surfaces IAW Coatings and Color Manual COMDTINST M10360.3C, approximately 30,000 SF, 14) Apply Primer coat to freeboard surfaces, approximately 30,000 SF, 15) Apply primer coat to weather deck surfaces, approximately 30,000 SF, 16) Apply primer coat to superstructure surfaces, approximately 30,000 SF, 17) Apply primer coat to machinery space bilge surfaces, approximately 10,000 SF, 18) Apply primer coat to non machinery space bilge surfaces, approximately 10,000 SF, 19) Apply primer coat to interior compartments, passageways, offices and etc to a surface condition of WJ-2, approximately 10,000 SF, 20) Slurry blast the underwater body surfaces to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media disposal), approximately 20,000 SF, 21) Slurry blast the superstructure surfaces to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media disposal), approximately 5,000 SF, 22) Slurry blast the freeboard surfaces to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media disposal), approximately 20,000 SF, 23) Slurry blast the weather desks to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media and disposal), approximately 5,000 SF, 24) Slurry blast the machinery space bilge surfaces to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media and disposal), approximately 5,000 SF, 25) Slurry blast the non-machinery space bilge surfaces to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media and disposal), approximately 5,000 SF, 26) Slurry blast built in tank surfaces to achieve a surface profile of 1 to 1.5 mils (estimated cost shall include cost of media and disposal), approximately 10,000 SF, 27) Power tool clean, approximately 20,000 SF. All quantities are estimated and are based on yearly estimates. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
