- THE PURPOSE OF THIS MODIFICATION IS TO CHANGE THE ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE TO OCTOBER 15TH. HOWEVER, IT IS INCUMBENT UPON INTERESTED PARTIES TO CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WEBSITES FOR UPDATES AND POSTINGS. The US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) has a requirement for Medical Instructor and Support Services for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Medical Courses offered by the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), US Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. The anticipated period of performance is a 7 month base year with four (4) one-year options. The primary place of performance is Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The requirement is for medical instructors, as well as a wide variety of services to support the classroom instruction and facility. Examples of the instructor support include advanced medical instructors, paramedic instructors, and veterinarians. The support services include logistics, engineering (IT/AV), and personnel/administrative functions. Examples of the support required in the administrative and logistical support are: development/ implementation of training, development of training aids and the life-cycle support of the military training systems including the installed audio-visual, communications, and information technology systems as well as their supporting electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The date for receipt of proposals has not been determined but will be provided at the time of solicitation. The estimated release date for the solicitation is July 2007.
