- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) Forward hangar Bolts (In accordance with Source Control Drawing 639AS6699), Qty 2,800. This requirement is sole sourced to MS Aerospace, 13928 Balboa Blvd., Sylmar, CA 91342 as the only qualified and approved vendor to produce this part. No new First Article Qualification will be required under this contract, because MS Aerospace has manufactured this bolt within the last 12 mounts. In order to maintain flight certification, only qualified and certified hardware can be used in this application. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the material without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
