- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2, Webster Field St Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Non-Competitive Indefinite Quantity / Indefinite Delivery contract with Sabtec Industries Incorporated, 23231 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887-4768. This Base Year and four one year option contract is to procure approximately 200 Versa Module Eurocard (VME) Navy Tactical Data System (NTDS) Boards, Paddle Cards and Adapter Modules in support of the AN/TPX-42a(V)14 Shipboard Air Traffic Control System. No more than 40 Units per year. The VME NTDS Boards, Paddle Cards and Adapter Modules will be used in the Display Processor Component. Sabtec Industries Incorporated is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The products will be processed under the authority of FAR part 13.5, Test Program for Commercial Items. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other service or supply will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement as a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
