- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11 (Indianapolis, IN, Fort Wayne & Marion, IN, and Danville, Il) has an ongoing program to furnish artificial limbs, to those veterans in need and are eligible for assistance. It is the VA's intention to solicit proposals and award multiple contracts for the three (3) VA Medical Centers under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. Section 8123 for a Base Year with four Option Years. Contractor's facilities must be within 80 miles of the particular VA Medical they are proposing. All contractors shall have a full-time American Board Certified (ABC), or Board for Orthotist-Prothetist Certification (BOC). The contractor's facilities shall be approved by the Facility Accreditation Program of the American Board for certification in Orthotics and Prothetics, Inc. (ABC), the Accredited Facilities Program of the Board of Certification (BOC). Interested offerors can submit a written request for solicitation for solicitation on a first come firs serve basis.
