- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) is soliciting proposals for the research effort Verification Coverage Analysis of Complex Electronic Hardware for Software and Digital Systems. The FAA anticipates to award one (1) Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for a period of 2 years to the responsive /responsible offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the Government. The evaluation will be based on the following three (3) technical factors: (1) Technical Approach (2) Relevance to Aviation Safety, (3) Research Performance Competence. This is a Full and Open procurement with applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541710, Engineering Research and Development. The size standard (number of employees) is 1500. Interested parties responding to this solicitation are directed to the attached SIR. All questions/ inquires must be provided in writing by Friday, October 12, 2007 to Jeanine Passetti at jeanine.passetti@faa.gov Proposals are due no later than October 23, 2007 by 2:00 PM, EST. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov under current announcements for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award any effort resultant from SIR DTFACT-08-R-00001.
