- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), William J. Hughes Technical Center is soliciting proposals for research entitled "Generation of Probability of Detection (POD) Curves for Ultrasonic Detection of Simulated Hard Alpha Inclusions in Titanium Forgings". The solicitation is provided as an attachment to this announcement. Any questions regarding the solicitation must be done via email and directed to the Contracting Officer, Lori.McLaughlin@faa.gov. All questions must be submitted by 2:00 EST time on October 17, 2007. The completed SIR and all other information required for proposing on this effort must be submitted no later than 2:00 EST on October 31, 2007, per the instructions set forth in the SIR.
