- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY AND NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) DOCUMENT. THE RFP/SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. CONTRACTORS SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aircraft Repair and Supply Center (ARSC) intends to solicit for a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract consisting of one 12-month Base Period and nine 12-month Option Periods for the purchase of six man life rafts and repair support needed for USCG Fixed and Rotary Wing assets. The solicitation will be solicited as Full and Open Competition. The applicable NAICS code is 326299 with a size standard of 500 employees. The contract will provide comprehensive support for the proposed Life Raft System in that the contractor shall be responsible for furnishing related parts for purchase, depot repair labor capability, specifications documents, technical manuals and support infrastructure for the selected raft model. The Government intends to use the procedures of FAR Part 12 and 15 for this acquisition. Specifications, Quantities, Unit of Issues, and Delivery information will be identified in the solicitation document. The Solicitation Document HSCG38-08-R-500001 will be available for downloading on the FedBizOpps website. Contractors are encouraged to register in the FedBizOpps "Vendor Notification Service" (located on the FedBizOpps home page) to receive all notices for solicitation HSCG38-08-R-500001 . A closing date for receipt of offers will be established upon issuance of the solicitation. An anticipated award date has not been established.
