- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Leased Office Space Hazard, Kentucky. The United States Government seeks to lease approximately 3,772 Rentable Square Feet yielding 3,280 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet of office and related space in Hazard, Kentucky within the following delineated area: North-Beginning at the corner of N. Main Street (KY 476) and Memorial Drive (Business 15) running south to the corner of Main Street. South-Corner of Main Street (County 2449, 476) and Memorial Drive (Business 15) running north to KY 451, turning west to Cooksey St. Following Cooksey Street north to Main Street. Turning North following N. Main St. to the corner of North Main and Memorial. The proposed lease term is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after the fifth year. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than December 28, 2008. The Government requires a fully-serviced lease and adequate parking for a minimum of 16 vehicles at reasonable commercial rates for employees within a two-block radius of the office/site. The offered space cannot be located within the 100-year flood plain. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. Sub-leases are not acceptable.
