- Description
- The Fleet Readiness Center East, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for various parts for an integration kit to upgrade the C2 54460 propeller system to an NP2000 propeller system. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-08-T-N004 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-90. This acquisition is unrestricted and is under the North American Industry Classification System code 336413, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract for the following: Item 0001, 56 each backshell adapter, P/N 440AS072Z171812-4K manufactured by Glenair Inc., dba Airborne Controls Division, cage code 06324. Item 0002, 56 each backshell adapter, P/N 440DS071NF0803-4KP manufactured by Glenair Inc., dba Airborne Controls Division, cage code 06324. Item 0003, 56 each backshell adapter, P/N 440HJ072Z171511-K-63 manufactured by Glenair Inc., dba Airborne Controls Division, cage code 06324. Item 0004, 56 each backshell adapter, P/N 440HS072Z170903-4K manufactured by Glenair Inc., dba Airborne Controls Division, cage code 06324. Item 0005, 56 each receptacle connector, P/N 906-8719A manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc., cage code 99866. Item 0006, 56 each connector, P/N D38999/26KH53SA manufactured by Amphenaol Sicemitalia SPA, cage code A3645. Item 0007, 56 each connector, P/N M83723/83K1831N manufactured by Aero Electronics, cage code 81533. Item 0008, 56 each connector, P/N M83723/83K2039N manufactured by Aero Electronics, cage code 81533. Item 0009, 80 each lg identification sleve, P/N SM23-1-9 manufactured by Sumitomo Electric Interconnect PDTS cage code 1JX75. Item 0010,1712 each shielded cable, P/N W-2504-231B manufactured by Whitmor Plastic Wire and Cable Corp., cage code 15851. The delivery requirements are FOB destination and are to be delivered to Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC 28533. Delivery for items 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004 is required within five (5) weeks of award or sooner, item 0005 is required within twenty (20) weeks of award or sooner, items 0006 and 0009 is required within two (2) weeks of award or sooner, item 0007 is required within three (3) weeks of award or sooner, item 0008 is required within four (4) weeks of award or sooner and item 0010 is required within eight (8) weeks of award or sooner. As a minimum, quotes shall contain company name, address, phone and fax numbers, unit prices, extended prices, terms of payment, and delivery date. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (SEPT 2006). FAR 52.212-1 Addendum. The following addition/changes are made to FAR Provision 52.212-1, which is incorporated by reference: The following provision(s) is/are hereby incorporated by reference: FAR 52.211-14 Notice of Priority Rating For National Defense Use (SEPT 1990). DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (APR 2007), applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); (12 Alt 1) (17) (20)(i). Award shall be made to the lowest priced responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and who demonstrates acceptable past performance.
