- Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst New Jersey has a requirement for the following items in support of the KC-130J Program: Eighteen (18) each, CASP/2200 Battery Charger/Analyzer, P/N- 121982-001; and Eighteen (18) each, S102 CASP Cable Assembly, P/N- 122135-004. The CASP/2200 Battery Charger/Analyzer, and S102 CASP Cable Assembly are required to analyze, discharge and charge sixteen ? ?C? cell NiCad battery, P/N S102, NIIN: 00-738-5914 (1.2 VDC) used in the aircraft emergency exit light, P/N S2320-101 every 105 days. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Lockheed-Martin owns proprietary rights to the mechanical designs of the above listed items. As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Lockheed-Martin owns the technical drawings, specifications, and data rights relevant to manufacture, repair, and comply with the original government specifications. MarathonNorco Aerospace is the only known source licensed by Lockheed-Martin to manufacture these items. As such, MarathonNorco Aerospace is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is sole designer and developer of the CASP/2200 Battery Charger/Analyzer, P/N- 121982-001, and S102 CASP Cable Assembly, P/N- 122135-004 APU adapter, P/N3402489-69, and APU Dolly, P/N- 3401207-5. MarathonNorco Aerospace of Waco, TX is the only known authorized source for direct distribution of the specialized part numbers listed above. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
