- With this announcement, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District issues a pre-solicitation notice for a contract for technical services to support the Dredged Material Management Program, including the (DAMOS) Dredged Material Managemen t Program. The majority of the work will be in various locations throughout New England, however work may be required within the North Atlantic Division Geographic al Boundaries. The Classification Code for this procurement is North American Industry Clas sification System (NAICS) 541690 with a size standard of $6,500,000. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity contract with one base year and two option years with a total contract ceiling amount of $1,000,000.00. Work will be performed on a task order basis. The Request for Proposal and amendments, if issued, will only be available on-line. Interested vendors can download the solicit ation via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov). The solicitation will be available on the Internet on or about 15 October 2007. The due date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation. Requests for solicitation documents by telephone, fax, or e-mail will not be honored. The Government intends to make award to the offeror that represents the best value to the Government, price and non-price factors considered. Instructions and evaluation factors will be provided in the so licitation. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal for consideration.
