- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41811-0181-7, for the provision of dairy products for the Federal Correctional Complex located at 4200 Bureau Road North, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. The contract period shall consist of a base period that extends from the effective date of award through 12 months. Estimated yearly contract requirements include: 1)250,000 half pints, reduced fat milk (2%); 2) 8,000 half pints, reduced fat chocolate milk (2%); 3)78,000 gallons reduced fat milk (1%), bulk 5 gallon containers 4) 2,500 gallons reduced fat chocolate milk (1%), bulk 5 gallon containers; 5) 10,000 pounds cottage cheese. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 17, 2007, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is November 2, 2007. The anticipated effective award date is December 1, 2007.
