- Description
- This is a Pre-Solicitation to obtain the Non-Personal Service of a part-time Education Advisor at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado 80011. Required items are commercial in nature; therefore FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items shall apply to this acquisition. The Education Advisor must meet qualifications in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and shall provide services in support of U.S. Air Force voluntary off-duty education program, to include providing academic advisement, information, guidance, and preparation of documents associated with the services provided. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611710 and the small business size standard is $6.5 Million. Solicitation number FA2543-07-T-0024 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside on or about 15 September 2007. This solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ with an anticipated closing date of 24 September 2007. No paper copies will be issued. Contract Award will be made on an all or nothing basis. Contractor shall propose on all items to be considered responsive. Funds are currently not available on this requirement, it is subject to FAR clause 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. The anticipated contract award date is on or around 15 September 2007. Additionally, the Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
