- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request fo r Quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. This procurement set aside 100% for small busi ness. The NAICS is 115210 with business size standard $6.5 million. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for base plus four options years. Options years will be unilaterally exercised at the Governments discretion. The contractor shall provide a ll labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and qualified supervision necessary to perform work associated with the horseshoeing of twelve (12) horses located the Fort Sam Houston Caisson Stables, 2121 N. Pine, Bldg 2195, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234 The contractor every six (6) weeks shall build and shape shoes for draft horses. The building of shoes shall consist of boruim on all shoes to make the shoes ready for street use. Contractor shall coordinate with Stable Master for the coordinatio n of times and schedules. The following contract line item numbers (CLINS) are applicable to this requirement and shall reflect t he total cost for these services.
