- Description
- Pope AFB intends to solicit and award a Large Business sole source to Beckman coulter Inc for Annual Rental Service contract for Hematology Equipment. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is FAR Part 6.302-1; Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1). The applicable NAICS codes is 339111. The requirement consists of one line item: (0001) Travel and labor covered during business hours 8:00 am through 5:00 pm, 5 days per week (Monday through Friday) excluding Beckman Coulter designated holidays. Also to include telephone support, emergency visits during business hours, performance enhancements, all repair parts, and loaner coverage. Preventative Maintenance will be performed twice per year in the months of March and September. Coverage will be from 1 October 07 through 30 September 08. Any interested parties, other than Beckman coulter that feels they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience, and capabilities to satisfy the requirement no later than three (3) days after the post date of this announcement. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database. This notice is for informational purposes only; no formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from wich payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the contracting officer for this contract and until the contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
