Description
This acquisition is for the establishment of a firm fixed price requirement type contract for depot level repair of the Radome in support of the MC-130E Combat Talon 1 Aircraft: NSNs 1560-01-413-8958LG and 1560-01-440-9164LG, Part Numbers: 6914-D-002-1 and 970-00006-001, Noun:Radome. The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) is 8 and 4 each. There will be the basic contract and four (4) annual options. The BEQ for the option years is 8 and 4 each. Sole Source to NURAD Technologies, INC, 3310 Carlins Park Drive, Baltimore MD 21215 CAGE: 25223, Authority 10 USC 2304 ( C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
