- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB AL is issuing a Sources Sought Synopsis. A market survey for information only. This is not a request for quote. Please do not request a copy of a solicitation. A solicitation is not available at this time. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified firms. All potentially qualified businesses are encouraged to respond. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611710, with a size standard of $6.5M. In addition, the purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to determine if a multi-vendor IDIQ contract can meet most of the enterprise requirements of Air University. Enterprise requirements as used in this RFI encompasses, but is not limited to, the following service areas: academic administration support, educational/research commodities, event support, educational program development (both distance learning and resident courses), educational wargame lifecycle support, subject matter expertise, editing/publishing support and information technology support related to the mission of Air University and affiliated agencies. This agency may host an Industry Day in mid November to further the dialog between industry and key end-users to refine the requirements. The Government is requesting that interested concerns furnish the following information: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address 2. Type of business, i.e., small, large, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, service-disable Veteran-owned small business, etc. 3. Provide validation and information sufficient to demonstrate relevant knowledge of this effort. 4. If the company would consider attending an Industry Day. 5. Brochures and literature relevant to one or more of enterprise requirement service areas. 6. A list of existing contract vehicles applicable to one or more of the service areas. All interested sources must respond to this sources sought synopsis by close of business on 30 October 2007. Responses will be reviewed and may result in further face-to-face discussions. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. The deadline for submission is 30 Oct 2007.
