Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. This solicitation, number 7T-C-859, is to be used for a Request for Quote (RFQ) only. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns. The NAICS code is 423740 and the size standard is 100 employees. Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 apply. The requirement is for the following items and quantities: 0001-5 EA-Stulz-Air Technology Systems (CW-04) CCD-900-CW, Down-Flow Vertical A/C Floor mounted computer room air conditioning unit complete with Powder coat painted galvanized steel cabinet, thermally and acoustically insulated. Top free return with bottom discharge into raised floor. Unit mounted main power disconnect switch. Aluminum finish, copper tube chilled water coil complete two way or three way modulating chilled water valve. Condensate overflow safety switch, factory mounted and wired in the condensate pan. C-6000 microprocessor controller, complete with audible and visual alarms, large backlit graphical display or all operating system parameters and alarms. Includes remote, temperature/humidity sensor with 75? cable, steam cylinder humidifier, electric heat/reheat, smoke detector, and 18? floor stand. 0002-5 EA-Condensate Pump; The required items are to be purchased as brand name Stulz-Air Technology or equal. Delivery Date is 30 days after receipt of award. Ship To: 690 ISS, 102 Hall Blv, Suite 134, Lackland AFB, TX 78236. FOB Destination is required. Quote must be effective through 30 September 2007. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items applies-Quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1.technical capability of the item offered to meet Government requirements; 2.price. TECHNICAL CAPABILITY MEANS the product meets all specifications detailed in the line item above and is acceptable to the government under these specifications.
