Description
The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a Sole-Source Purchase order to New Holland Custom Woodwork LTC, for the purchase of: 1 EA; Special Order Radius and Straight Pews totaling 570 linear feet of pews in the main worship and balcony areas -With built in cushion seats, finished wood backs, radius pew backs. -Your choice of rounded or flat cap rails both of 5/4" solid stock with solid lumber under cap molding. -Solid FAS (First and Select) Red Oak Lumber 2 ply full to the floor pew end #121 -Solid FAS Red oak lumber 4 book capacity book racks with built in cup, card and pencil holders; mounted on the back side of all pew between supports except the rear rows and ushers benches -With supports made of cabinet grade hardwood plywood core, solid oak lumber on front and rear edges -Hamlin metal frame, padded kneelers on all pews except the rear rows and ushers benches -Choice of New Holland standard fabric and wood finishes -Delivered and installed by factory trained installation personnel 32 EA; New Holland Choir chairs totaling 28 seats Model 610 New Holland Arm Chair model 620 4 each Main worship clergy seating -Wood kneelers included for the choir chairs -Interlocking devices included for the choir chairs to aide in keeping the rows straight -delivered on the same shipment with the pews for client placement. 1 EA: Pulpit ? New Holland Model 2040A 1 EA: Communion Table ? New Holland Model 2040B This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 30 Sep 07. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source requirement. This Sole-Source document and applicable provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and DFARS Change Notice 20070906, Standard Industrial Code N/A, North American Industry Classification System Code 337127 and Size Standard of 500 apply to this procurement. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. The justification for this sole source procurement is to continue mission support in the training classroom.
