- The Amendment is isssued to reflect the change in the quantity of the chair covers from 19 each to 100 each. The deadline for submission is 28 September 2007 at 0900 AM. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under RFQ V2187972618190. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Norfolk Office intends to purchase the following items: 1) BERTH CURTAINS, FAN PANELS: Provide (1500 PAIRS) berth curtain measuring approximately 24?L x 42?W. Fabricate curtains with NOMEX material and comply with MIL-C-24500, Type 1. Weight of the material shall be 6 ounces per square yard fabric weight. Fabrication of the curtain shall be in accordance with DOD-C-24556 and SPEC A-A-59473, Type 3. Contractor shall provide all associated hardware necessary for installation, including track, tape and fabric tabs. Fabric color shall be ?ROYAL BLUE?. (2) CHAIR COVERS: Furnish labor and material to fabricate and install (19 EA) chair covers with piping and skirt. Covers shall be fabricated from cloth material. Covers shall have a silk screen ships emblem printed on them, based on the ships choosing. Color shall be specified by the ship?s representative. The chair measurements are as follows: chair back 32 1/2" high X 16 1/2" wide, seat is 17 1/2" high X 20" wide, chair is 18" deep. The ships crest is 15" high X 12" across. Delivery will be 45 Days or better/ARO. FOB Point: Origin, Shipping Charges to be covered by STS (Smart Transportation Solution). If providing equal, please provide descriptive data.
