Description
OFFICE SPACE WANTED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AMOUNT: The General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing approximately 26,508 rentable square feet of space, together with 130 outside parking spaces reserved for exclusive use by the Government. The rentable space should yield a minimum of 23,050 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, equipment, and inside parking for 30 vehicles. TENANT: Department of Homeland Security (DHS). LOCATION: The area of consideration is in San Diego, CA within the area bounded by Highway 52 on the north; Highway 67 on the east; Interstate 8 on the south; and Interstate 805 on the west. REQUIRED: The space must be in an office/flex building and section of the city that is professional and prestigious in appearance, well-maintained and of modern design and/or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use with access to public transportation. The space must meet or be capable of being altered to meet the Government's requirements for accessibility and seismic safety. Offers for new construction will require the building be set back from the site perimeter. There should be, as determined by the GSA Contracting Officer, adequate public parking, public transportation, eating facilities, and other services such as retail shops, banks, and cleaners in the area. TERM: The lease will be for eight (8) years, five (5) years firm term.
