- Description
- The Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208, has the need for a monthly preventative maintenance/service contract, including PM parts and consumable filters (AP110 5 micron), for several AmeriWater Reverse Osmosis units. Additionally, two Ameriwater portable RO units will need to be disinfected per manufacturer specifications twice per month (24 times/year). All chemicals required to perform this disinfection shall be included in this contract. Contract shall also include TDS calculations, with a complete written report submitted to Dialysis staff. Contractor shall also be required to submit plans for, and upon award maintain, a backup emergency plan to provide dialysis quality water for use in case of an emergency or shortage. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded to address these services. An RFQ will be available on or about September 27, 2007. The due date for submissions will be October 12, 2007 at 3:00 PM EST. If notice of interest is received, the Contracting Officer will make this RFQ available to qualified contractors. This solicitation shall be set aside 100% for Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. Potential offerors who would like to receive the RFQ shall submit their request, in writing (email) to the Contracting Officer at Jason.white@va.gov, or by US Postal Mail to: Jason V. A geographic location close enough to support emergency repairs and service to the Dialysis systems at the Albany, New York VA Medical center is necessary for consideration of award.
