Description
NSN 4320-01-308-9171, Seal Assembly, Shaft, Spring loaded. I/A/W Caterpillar, Inc. (06YY8) p/n 312-0699. I/A/W DWG NR 19207 12268362, AMEND NR B DTD 99 DEC 13. The estimated yearly quantity is 8247; the unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4320. See notes 22 and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 16 Oct 07 at https://www. dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1B source controlled drawing item. This AMSC code implies that the Government does not have sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase part from other than current source. The delivery for this acquisition will be on a FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, MBA program and JWOD support evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and other than full and open competition.
