- The following questions and answers are provided: Q1. You are requesting solid core cushion tires but have provided sizes for pneumatic tires can you clarify what you are looking for? A1. The pneumatic numbers are currently on the vehicles and need to be replaced with solid core cushion tires. We are requesting solid core cushion tires with rims which we define as a solid rubber tire with no air in it. We don't want solid hard rubber tires. The cushion tires must give some semblance of a decent ride over hard ground. Q2. Confirm that the Government requires solid core tires for the Polaris Ranger and CAT 924.G? A2. We need solid core cushion tires as reflected in answer 1 above. No other changes are authorized. The closing date remains unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
