Description
NLRB01-07-R-0004 VIDEO SERVICE Amended to post Vendor questions(s) and Agency answer(s)as related to the solicitation. Question 1. How Do I look up your special clauses, rules and regs pertaining to the request for video services. Answer: The clauses and provisions can be retrieved at www.acquisition.gov. Click on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) under Quicklinks located on the far right side of the page. That will take you to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Select either the HTML Format button, or the PDF Format button to open up the document. I recommend using the HTML. When the page opens, it will be the General Structure and Subparts page. Scroll down to the end of the page and there you will see Subchapter H ? Clauses and Forms. Click on Part 52 ? Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses and you will be able to view the clauses associated with the notice. Question 2. Is the NLRB currently doing video services between your different field offices and if so, are you only looking for an offeror to provide the transport (IP, T1, etc) and bridge to connect all the field units simultaneously. Answer: Yes, we currently do I/P video calls between different Polycom video units. We need that capability (to call from point A to point B without going through a bridge), plus the capability to do bridged calls (with 3 or more parties on one call). Question 3. What are the allowable charges under the RFP. For example, space, utilities, labor costs, etc. Answer: We are only looking for MONTHLY costs to transport video calls, and to do video bridging. Question 4. Do you want the offeror to be centrally located to your field offices or can the offeror be located anywhere in the US Answer: Anywhere in the US. Question 5. Is there a ceiling to the costs of the video services you are requesting. Answer: The Agency cannot provide you with cost factors pertaining to the notice. This is information that you should provide to the Government for consideration during evaluation of the proposal. Question 6. Your notice asks for a technical plan and a cost plan. Are these two documents to be combined into one package and sent via email. Answer: Yes, the proposal should consist of a Technical Proposal and a Cost Proposal. If sending the document via e-mail is a problem, it can be send via express mail, as long as it is received by the proposal due date and time cited in the notice. Question 7. Can I call you back directly if I need further clarification. Answer: It is preferred that you address all of your concerns/questions via e-mail so that your question(s) can be properly addressed. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
