- Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this notice until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the drawings, specified in the specification, or as needed to renovate Building 1402 Phase 3, Project number PNQS 02-1402-3 at Maxwell AFB, AL 36112. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. This is will be an 8(a) set aside competitive acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $31M; the SIC code is 1542. Award of this contract will be made utilizing competitive best value source selection procedures in which competing offerors' past performance history will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 300 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 16 Jul 07. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. NO paper copies will be furnished. Only 8(a) contractors within 200 miles of Maxwell AFB will be considered for award. A site visit is scheduled for 27 July 2007 at 10:00 CDT. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where work will be performed. Address is: ACSC Building 1402, 225 Chennault Circle, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112. All offerors will meet in the front of the building at the designated time. Point of contact is Don Fisher, 334-953-4074. Reservations must be made no later than 24 July 2007 in order to process visitor passes. Reservations should be e-mailed to include names of persons attending and companies represented.
