- Description
- This announcement will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated award will be a Requirements IDIQ with Firm Fixed Price CLINs contract. The award will be based on Best Value to the Government. The evaluation will consist of Past Performance and Price. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16; Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 20070426 edition; and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2007-0314 edition. This acquisition is to be set aside for 100% 8a Competitive. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517110. The small business size standard for this code is 1500 employees. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: This acquisition is for non-personal services wherein, the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to perform/provide Base Telecommunications System Services for Holloman AFB, New Mexico. The initial performance period is from 1 Oct 07 to 30 Sep 08 plus four one-year options (1 Oct 08 to 30 Sep 09, 1 Oct 09 to 30 Sep 10, 1 Oct 10 to 30 Sep 11, and 1 Oct 11 to 30 Sep 12). Options may be exercised unilaterally by the Government. Work under the acquisition will support the mission of 49 Fighter Wing at Holloman AFB, NM with highly reliable telecommunications and network, voice, and data services. The contractor shall perform monthly Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services and other services for the Base Telecommunications System (BTS) which will be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement and with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
