- Description
- The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) intends to issue an award to Pitney Bowes, Inc. for the rental of digital postage meters. The meters will work in conjunction with the Agency-owned Pitney Bowes mailing systems to affix postage to Agency mail. Pitney Bowes meters are the only postage meters that will function in the Pitney Bowes mailing systems. There are a total of fifty-two (52) locations where the meter will be operational. The period of performance shall be for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option years. Pitney Bowes is the only manufacturer that can provide the meters that will operate in their machines. Thereby, under the Authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the justification for this action is that Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. All responsible offerors may respond to this notice via e-mail before 10:00 A.M. via e-mail on September 27, 2007. No Telephone responses will be accepted.
