- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Navy Communications Program Office, Code PMW-170, intends to issue a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) to L-3 Cincinnati Electronics Corporation, dba L-3 Communications Cincinnati Electronics, 7500 Innovation Way, Mason, OH 45040-9699 for procurement of Conical Logarithmic Spiral Mobile (CLSM) Antennas . The contract will provide for the procurement up to an estimated 76 units in Fiscal Year 2008. The CLSM Antenna, defined by L-3 Communications Cincinnati Electronics part number 646949-2 and National Stock Number (NSN) 5985-01-548-0341, provides an omni-directional, UHF Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA), and Non-DAMA compatible satellite communications (SATCOM) capability to support both voice and data ship-to- shore communications using man-portable radios. Detailed technical data, including engineering drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures for the manufacture and/or acceptance of this item, is NOT AVAILABLE from the Navy. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334220. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation will be issued without further notice and will be available at the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website. See Government-wide Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
