- Description
- The Airworthiness Office, AIR-4.0P, Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP) Division at the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD 20670 has a requirement for the purchase of one (1) Configuration Management software package that will integrate with the NATIP Content Management System and its structured, automated, content publishing environment, all the while adding workflow, versioning control, content reuse and production tracking capabilities created to enhance editorial content management and publishing in a variety of document and web-based output formats, including XML. This software must also be compatible with the Arbortext Publishing Engine, DLM & Contributor 5.2 and Editor Architect. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with XyEnterprise, Inc., 101 Edgewater Drive, Wakefield, MA 01880-1296. Under the authority of FAR 6.302, only one responsible source and no other goods or services will meet the agency?s needs. XyEnterprise with its Contenta software owns the proprietary application and the original source codes that have been tested and FAM and NMCI approved for use on the DoD sponsored network. Deliveries shall occur no later than two (2) months after date of award. The award date is anticipated to be September 28, 2007. Delivery will be to the Receiving Officer, Supply Department, Bldg. 665, 47179 Vaughn Road, (NASSU), Patuxent River, MD 20670.
