Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAVAIR/AD) intends to contract on a sole source basis with Bodnar Welding, P.O. Box 69, Park Hall, MD 20667-0069 for fabrication of three (3) POD service stands for the EA-18G SDD flight test program. This procurement is a sole source requirement under under NAICS Code 332312, Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing, under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). NAVAIR/AD intends to award a purchase order for this requirement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Bodnar is the only firm with the technical skills and capability that can meet the Navys strict flight schedule within the required time frame. This synopsis notice is issued for informational purposes only and no solicitation or RFQ for this requirement exists. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Navy. See Note 22.
