- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION/NOTICE OF INTENT for commercial services/supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent and a written notice of intent WILL NOT be issued. The Department of Navy, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, National Naval Medical Center, Acquisition Management Service, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Elsevier Science Direct for: a one (1) year period for the following: DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UNIT OF ISSUE ELECTRONIC 1 EA JOURNALS FOR FY 08 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511120. This acquisition will be under the authority of Section 4202 Clinger Cohen Act of 1996, as set forth in FAR Part 6.302-1 Part 13, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Solicitation questions shall be submitted in writing to bsroman@bethesda.med.navy.mil. This is not a request for competitive quotes. CLOSING DATE: 3:00 P.M. 27 SEP 2007 EST.
