- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotations. The Contractor shal l provide 6 Reels of 1-1/8 6X19 IWRC Stainless Steel Wire Rope, Type 302,1200 Feet Continuous Reels. Deliver FOB at U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walter F. George Hydropower Site Office, 1397 Powerhouse Rd Shorterville, AL 36373. Wire Rope to be used t o repair Headgate Hoist equipment. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded. This procurement is unrestricted. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average number of employees does not exceed 500 for the past three (3) years under NAICS 332618. The following Contract Clauses apply in accordance with FAR and DFARS: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Ter ms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, 52.247-64, Preference for Privately Owned U.S. Flag Commercial Vessels, 252.225-7001 Buy American and Balance of Payments Program and 252.247-7023 Transportation of Supp lies by Sea. In accordance with DFARS these are the following Qualifying Countries listed under the Buy American Act: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Federal Republic of Germany, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in CCR before they can receive an award. The information listed below is required: 1.
