Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W9133L-07-T-0143 is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 05-12. All responsible sou rces may submit a firm fixed price quote which shall be considered by the Agency. Quote shall be labeled with the solicitation number. The Government intends to contract for Mission Equipment Package (MEP) 8100RO under FSC 1680, NAICS Code 336413, Other A ircraft Parts. Contractor shall submit a quote for the following equipment: SX-16 Model Night Sun Search Light quantity of nine (9). Quotes should be for the specific equipment item as approved by HQ USAAMCOM for use on OH-58A Aircraft. Quotes for any o ther equipment will not be considered. Quoted prices should include all CONUS shipping costs. Quotes will be evaluated based on best value. If a quote fails to meet any of the criteria in this solicitation then it will be set aside and not considered. A ll quotes should be marked valid through midnight of Sept 26, 2007. Quotes will be evaluated based on best price. b. MEP List: Please send an email request to Captain Glasgow for a copy of the required Equipment List. c. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items, applies to this acquisition. d. Offeror is required to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items, with its offer. e. Noncompetitive Contract Action: The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The source is Spectrolab, Inc. This is a sole source require ment because Spectrolab, Inc. is the only known source for HQ USAAMCOM approved equipment. 4. Place of Contract Performance/Shipment Location: Support Equipment will be shipped Gulfport MS after contract award. 5. Set-aside Status: N/A 6.
