- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Philips Medical Systems North American. Items to be purchased: Gold Customer Service Agreement on Pegasys Ultra Workstation maintenance, Site: 512961. Contractor shall bide by Health Insurance Protability and Accountability (HIPPA), public law 104-191, 45 CFR 160, and 45 CFR 164. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13.5 and FAR Part 12 Test Program for certain Commercial Items and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 1 October 2006. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
