- This is for a one year basic requirements contract with 4 one-year options for the overhaul of the specified part number list below. The contractor shall furnish all required labor, facilities, equipment, and all material to accomplish OVERHAUL, test, packing, preservation and packaging, and return to the Government at the unit price(s) established at the time of contract award, the items of Air Force equipment listed below, all in accordance with the provisions and the Work Specifications identified in Section J of the solicitation. Award will be made approximately 60 days after the solicitation is posted. This contract will not become effective until 8 August 2008 Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. See Note(s) 1, 23 and 26.
