- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued as a Request for quote (RFQ). Clauses FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, and FAR 52.222-50 apply. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20, effective 6 Sep 07 and Class Deviation 2005-00001 current to DCN 2007-9-6 Edition. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This RFQ has the following items: 0001 PredictionProbe UNIPASS V5.8 Network Annual License (NAL) Fee; Period of Performance: 28 Sep 07-27 Sep 08; Quantity: 3 0002 PredictionProbe UNIPASS Security Key; Period of Performance: 12 months; Quantity: 3. 0003 Shipping & Handling Quotations must price each line item listed above. Clauses FAR 52.212-4 and FAR 52.212-5 shall be included with any offer. WPAFB intends to award to PredictionProbe, 2192 Dupont Drive, Suite 205, Irvine CA 92612. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Justification: Software and support is available from only one responsible source and no other software and support will satisfy agency requirements. Ship to Destination: AFRL/VAOO, Attn: Donald Reese, 2130 8th Street, Area B, Bldg 45, Rm 059, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-1, 52.212-3. Clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 shall be included with any offer. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(2), the Government may award without discussions. An ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact the buyer at the telephone listed herein.
