- The VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS), Seattle intends to negotiate sole source procurement with McKesson Automated Healthcare 700 Waterfront Dr. Pittsburgh PA 15264-2164; for onsite maintenance service for a Robot RX / VISTA Packager and onsite maintenance service for a total of 36 Acudose RX Cabinets (Seattle Campus - 24 Cabinets) and (American Lake Campus - 9 Cabinets). The Government believes only one responsible source can satisfy the agency requirement and intends to negotiate this acquisition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for other than full and open competition. No other solicitation document will be available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Any company that believes it can meet this requirement shall submit a written response to the Contracting Officer no later than September 28, 2007 by 3:00 PM PDT. Detailed supporting evidence must be provided to demonstrate your ability to meet this requirement. Supporting evidence will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice will be solely at the discretion of Government. If no responses are received by September 28, 2007 by 3:00PM, the VAPSHCS will proceed with the sole source procurement.
