- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Grand Junction, CO, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Olympus America for laparoscopes: WA53000A 10MM 0 DEG HD Telescope, 10mm outer diameter, 0 Degree field of view, 315mm working length, HD-Compatible quick lock connection, 5 year gold-tip autoclavability guarantee 2 each, WA53005A 10MM 30 DEG HD Telescope, 10mm outer diameter, 30 degree field of view, 310 MM working length, HD compatible, quick lock connection, 5 year gold-tip autoclavability guarantee 2 each,WA2005A 30 DEG 10mm Long 430, 2 each, 1113329 A65070A HIQ + 10mm instrument grasp 1 each. This requirement is required to be consistent with current equipment and training of staff. Standardization is required for continuity of care. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 2 days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the requirements. If no responses are received the VA will proceed with sole source negotiations.
